Parenting practices and their relationship with the emotional bond Las prácticas de crianza y su relación con el vínculo afectivo

Abstract

In this article the results of a study conducted with 8 families from the garden Escuela Maternal of the Pedagogy University of Colombia. Where for rearing practices and possible association with attachment bond between parent and child will be investigated are presented. A qualitative study using various data collection techniques such as the strange situation, observing care practices and in-depth interview was conducted. The results indicate that five dyads showed a type of secure attachment more democratic style of parenting, 3 dyads with avoidant attachment styles with neglectful and authoritarian -permissive parenting; and one dyad with ambivalent attachment style indulgent permissive parenting. Finally implications of the some aspects which has the sensitivity of caregivers with organizing element of the socio- emotional life of the children listed.
