Abstract
The aim of this study, was to describe key aspects of the culture of patient safety and security climate perceived by the employees working in a University Hospital in Bogotá, the survey that was used was “Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture” sponsored Medical Errors by the Workgroup of The Quality Cordination Interagency Task Force (Quico). The information gathered allowed the perception that the collaborators have as seven dimensions that makes up the safety culture. The information analysis shows that the construction of the safety culture is a process that involves changes in concepts and practices of health personnel, who still lack consolidate but already shows significant progress.
