Abstract
The present study identifies and analyzes the personal features influenced by the culture, that is can be related with the occurrence of accidents of work of the drivers the articulated and nourishing buses of Transmilenio system. The kind of study is descriptive – qualitative, the sample studied was 398 drivers of Transmilenio system, and the information was obtained by means of a questionnaire that design and validate for the present study. The results show that population studied there are factors that probably affect on the occurrence of laboral accidents, such as the perception of risk in the work; the perception of negative factors of the organization, for example the pressure of system and the departed
schedules; and thirdly, cultural factors reflected in behaviors and habits of the drivers, for example impulsiveness, the recklessness (imprudence), to worry too much for personal situations, nerves, to see the streets advertising, and to see the attractive persons, and also demonstrate special behaviors about the religious imagines. In conclusion, there are cultural factors in the job that can be a risk factor for laboral accidents
