Abstract
The purpose of this article is to deepen the relationship between leadership and organizational cynicism, with reference to perceptions about the functions of leadership and how are impacting the behavior of employees. A mediational model was developed, suggesting attitudes and perceptions which should impact the leader to reduce cynicism in his staff. the analysis included data from three surveys of organizational climate, which was used in a multi-group analysis to avoid bias in the sample. the results show that the relationship between leadership and cynicism of workers is mediated entirely by organizational trust, organizational conflict and organizational justice. the model predicts that while the supervisor creates a climate of confidence in the team, reduce sources of conflict within the organization and support the worker’s perception of value in the company, cynicism should tend to diminish as attitude
