Abstract
The changes in the workplace, have brought new changes in information management, knowledge management and problem solving; elements that bring new risks of psychosocial order to increase the mental workload and threaten the physical, psychological and social workers. This development work has been translated into more specialized, higher and accelerated rhythms of work, increased responsibilities and increased teamwork, changes that have not been outside the teaching profession (Cuenca,2004). in this research identifies some of the intralaborales psychosocial risks to which they are exposed university teachers, from an objective assessment on the seven dimensions set by the Ministry of Social Protection in Colombia resolution 2646 of 2008: organizational management, characteristics of work organization and social group work, person-task interface, task conditions, conditions of working environment and working hours . We conclude that specific aspects of management and organization of work as non-participation and understanding of welfare programs within the institution, high quantitative and qualitative demands of work, high mental workload arising from the responsibilities of the position and the duration of working time that allows the realization of active breaks are elements stressors that impact the quality of work life and performance of these professionals.
