Abstract

The purpose of the research was to compare the psychological profiles on personnel selection under the influence of simulation ("faking") real and experimental. We want to know if there was a statistically significant difference in the scales of validity and clinical scales between the two groups. A group was composed of 78 candidates for employment who overturned personality profile (L > 78) which is actually simulated for the process of personnel selection and the other group (n = 20) was the group that was given them instructions to simulate for personnel selection process. Comparing the averages for both groups with “t” tests and then "d" coefficient of Cohen was obtained to see how great the differences were. The results indicate that there were differences between the groups in both clinics and validity scales. It can be inferred that validity scales are effective to measure simulation , being compared in a real environment.
