Abstract

This research is oriented at recognizing the citizen participation process in the development of the Public Policy of LGBTI sector in Bogota since 2004 until 2014; It is qualitative because it seeks to describe and understand the reality of a particular group from your subjectivity through semi-structured interviews. Where you can realize that, through the exercise of citizenship and political expressions, has promoted the creation of spaces that have been important in the construction and implementation of the Public Policy for claiming rights; these policies expressions given through collective action, have intended to express the dissatisfaction of minorities as the case of LGBTI sector. Against the non-recognition of their rights as citizens, seeking to transform structurally macro situation, in an effort to be assumed as citizens seeking personality development, inclusion and equity.
