Abstract
This theoretical study had as objective to analyze the theories about neurosis of Alfred Adler and Carl Jung based on the categories established by Rapaport (1967) in his book, “The structure of the psychoanalytical theory”. This categories where: The neurotic conduct is integrated and inseparable; there is no isolated neurotic conduct; the neurotic behavior is all part of a genetic series and, through its history, the time series that promoted the current form of personality (genetic standpoint); the fundamental determinants of neurotic conduct are unconscious; the ultimate determinants of every neurotic conduct are impulses; every neurotic conduct is socially determined.
