Abstract
This article shows the development and validation of an attitude scale to use the web & social pages with recruiters in Human Resources in personnel selection in Puerto Rico. The objective of the study was to do the psychometrics properties of the scale with a pilot study and see the properties of the scale. The punctuation of content validity index was .99 and reliability was .89 both indicates good psychometrics measures. The preliminaries results of the scale, demonstrate that recruiters have a good attitude toward the use of the social web pages as personnel selection procedures, and at least, during the selection process, they have used once the social web. The recommendation for future studies is to have more subjects and have more statistical analysis.
