Abstract

The objective of this study was to characterize the depression set of prototypical principles and values into a 30 adult depressive-diagnosed females group, in the city of Bucaramanga (Colombia). A cases and controls, retrospective ex post facto study was done, using a validated self-report. The results confirm the presence of a set of specific depression values and principles in depressive participants, with X2=7, 6256, higher to one expected (X2= 4,660), with a p≤0.01 and fg=28. Those prototypical values were: Certainty, safety, predictability, self –sufficiency, self esteem, approving, efficacy, and self imposition.
