Abstract

This work was carried out from four objectives: 1) Set the text type of blogs that deal with academic stress, 2) Identify the conceptual orientation of academic stress on blogs that address it, 3) Determine the etiology of academic stress reported by blogs that address it, and 4) Establish prescriptive guidelines to face up to academic stress, offered by blogs that address it. In order to achieve these objectives, a qualitative research was conducted by means of the method of content analysis. Altogether, 30 blogs were analyzed. The category structure is built from five articulated shafts leading to recognize that academic stress is addressed in the blogs from the perspective of distress, to the detriment of eustress.
