Abstract

The study presented here had as main objective to understand the emergence of communication codes in ritualized eroticism. Involved a couple who meet the following conditions: a period of living equal to or exceeding five years, desire to participate voluntarily, did not present any special problems that warranted psychological or psychiatric care and obtaining a significant score in the use of assertive type strategies in managing conflict situations of everyday married life. The couple was filmed talking about their marital relationship, then a interview in depth was made, which was audio-recorded; both of them, the conversation and the interview were transcribed in a matrix in wich verbal, paraverbal and kinesic componentes were identified. This information was then analyzed according to what Teun van Dijk proposed as discourse analysis (structure, interaction and cognition). The highlight in the conversation is collaboration in building a conversation through communicative exchange. It was possible to establish a systematic procedure to realize communicative interaction as a complex process.
