Imagens sociais da juventude da Universidade de Bogotá-Colômbia sobre o processo de reintegração de ex-guerrilheiros das FARC-EP na sociedade civil local

Resumo

Este estudo exploratório qualitativo utilizou doze jovens que cursavam o primeiro semestre de programas universitários na cidade de Bogotá, Colômbia, para explorar suas imagens sociais do processo de reintegração de ex-combatentes das FARC-EP e como eles percebem possíveis interações com ex-combatentes que poderiam ocorrer em espaços como a universidade, o bairro e o local de trabalho. Expressaram seus temores, rejeições, aceitação e esperanças em relação à reintegração dos ex-combatentes das FARC-EP na sociedade civil. Suas narrativas expressaram conhecimentos e emoções sobre o processo de construção da paz que está ocorrendo no país. A metodologia de contar histórias foi usada como estratégia para coletar dados de jovens em conflito prolongado (ver Senehi, 2019). Este estudo contribui para a literatura de estudos de paz e conflito (PACS) e para o campo da psicologia da paz, destacando o papel crucial de incluir as vozes dos jovens nos esforços de construção da paz e reconciliação em sociedades transitórias. por um acordo pós-paz (ver Byrne et al ., 2019).

Leonardo Rafael Luna Eslava, Corporación Universitaria Iberoamericana

Leonardo Luna is a Ph.D. candidate in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Manitoba. He is Professor in the Department of Psychology at Corporación Universitaria Iberoamericana in Colombia. He is co-founder of the Participation and Social Research Collective-CPAIS in Colombia. He holds an M.Sc. in Interdisciplinary Social Research from the Francisco José de Caldas University and an M.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies (PACS) from the University of Manitoba. He is the recipient of several scholarships. He is interested in the role of NGOs in peacebuilding, critical and emancipatory peacebuilding, peace psychology, youth peacebuilders, and ethnic conflicts

Sean Byrne, Universidad de Manitoba, Canada

Sean Byrne is Professor in the Peace and Conflict Studies (PACS) graduate program at the University of Manitoba (UM). His recent book publications include the Routledge Companion to Peace and Conflict Studies (Routledge, 2020), and the Routledge Handbook of Peacebuilding and Ethnic Conflicts (2022). He has published over 130 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters as well as authored, coauthored, and coedited twelve books.. He co-founded the PACS Ph.D. Program and the Joint Master’s Program with the University of Winnipeg as well as the Arthur V. Mauro Centre for Peace and Justice at UM.
