Abstract
This article demarcates some of the historical relations, existing between psychology and economics as disciplines from its ontological and methodological perspectives have allowed the emergence of Economic Psychology (EP), as a form explaining of behaviors associated to events for financial exchange money. It describes of succinctly form the importance of economic factors that influence about psychological states among them is the use of money, the employment, the unemployment, the payment of taxes, the inflation and the economic growth. Invites us to reflect whether knowledge of the economic variables are or should be only to the service of companies or the governments or whether they can really be useful to citizens so they can predict and control the monetary and psychological impact of unemployment, inflation or economic growth.
