Teste de uma Ferramenta Ecológica para Avaliar o Funcionamento Executivo: o App Labirinto

Os instrumentos neuropsicológicos tradicionalmente usados para avaliação cognitiva e estimulação do lápis e do papel tendem a ter algumas limitações. As tarefas baseadas em computador, além de manter a boa confiabilidade e validade, apresentam certas estratégias em sua preparação que superam as limitações dos testes a lápis e papel. Neste sentido, aqueles baseados na realidade virtual também apresentam validade ecológica. Portanto, o objetivo deste trabalho era projetar e testar um instrumento que avaliasse processos cognitivos através da realidade virtual em adultos jovens, com a ideia de implementá-lo no futuro tanto para treinamento quanto para a reabilitação cognitiva em pessoas de diferentes idades. Um projeto descritivo, observacional e transversal foi implementado. Foi desenvolvida uma ferramenta de software chamada "App Labyrinth" que permite o treinamento e a estimulação cognitiva de jovens adultos e o registro de resultados de desempenho. Nesta primeira coleta de dados, foram obtidas medidas ajustadas, tornando plausível testar posteriormente o instrumento em treinamento cognitivo e reabilitação. Foi observado um desempenho adequado, com os usuários completando o primeiro nível da tarefa de forma intuitiva. Conclui-se que esta ferramenta mostra um desempenho adequado, onde os usuários realizaram sem dificuldades e foi possível obter índices baseados em tempos de reação e precisão na tarefa.
