Resiliência e personalidade em adultos com identidade cisgênero heteronormativa e identidades dissidentes na Argentina

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo descrever e comparar resiliência e personalidade em pessoas com Identidades Dissidentes (DI) e Identidades Heteronormativas Cisgênero (ICH) em uma amostra incidental da Argentina. Anteriormente, foi apresentada uma síntese do status jurídico das identidades dissidentes (DI) nos países, sua epidemiologia, o desenvolvimento da orientação sexual e estudos anteriores sobre personalidade e resiliência. 92 adultos (43 ID e 49 ICH) receberam a Escala de Resiliência (ER), o Questionário de Personalidade Eysenck (EPQ) e um questionário sociodemográfico que investigou a existência de grupos de apoio. Os dois grupos foram homogêneos nos dados sociodemográficos e na presença de grupos de apoio, embora os familiares tenham predominado nos IHCs e amigos nos IDs. Em resiliência, valores mais baixos foram obtidos em pessoas de ID; a única diferença significativa foi na autoeficácia (Z= -1,979, p<0,048, r=0,02). Na personalidade, o DI obteve maior neuroticismo do que o ICH (Z= -3,473, p<0,001, r=0,04). Houve correlação significativa entre neuroticismo e resiliência total independentemente de cada grupo (r= -.58, p<.0001). Juntos, os valores de resiliência e personalidade dos dois grupos ficaram em torno dos valores médios das amostras gerais da Argentina. Esses resultados corroboram as teorias que indicam que as identidades de gênero não são indicadores válidos da existência de condições psicopatológicas, conforme determinado pela OMS em 1990, o DSM-4 e o DSM-5 que eliminou o DI como patologias
