Abstract

This special issue of the Ibero-American Journal of Psychology, entitled "Inequality, Gender Violence, and Psychology," brings together a collection of research papers that share a common concern: addressing gender inequality and its manifestations in different areas of life from a psychological perspective. This concern not only highlights a social and public health problem but also a challenge for society as a whole and, especially, for psychology as a science and profession. In this sense, reading the research included here invites reflection on the need to continue exploring this often-invisible reality through diverse theoretical and methodological approaches based on scientific evidence.
