Abstract
Social networks are structures composed of individuals who interact through exchange relationships based on emotional and material through which social support are offered. Research on social networks points to structural and functional analysis in an adverse or socially vulnerable groups by identifying the impact of network relationships on welfare, participation and social integration of individuals. In this paper, we present an analysis of the social network function within the contexts of poverty and its relationship to health and quality of life of people.
