Abstract
The resilience constitute a way of comprehend the ability of some people to overcome and develop themselves into a context involved by adverse situations based on their positive adaptation. The purpose of this study was the design, implementation and evaluation of a program to the promotion and development of resilient behaviors in students aged between 8 and 11 years old from public schools in Neiva city. The design was quasi - experimental pretest - posttest with a measurement intermediate between three groups of 20 members each one, matched by age and gender. The measurements were performed at the three groups. The study’s obtained results were favorable for the intervention group in terms of the resilience variable and the personal factors that showed greater increase were humor, empathy and self-esteem.
