Abstract

Due to the need to asses reliability and validity of the scales used to identify the psychosocial risk factors, is that the objetive of this work it is to analyze the Psychosocial Factors Identification Guide by Legaspi, Martinez and Morales in 1986; this guide was applied in 1530 workers, in different economic activities placed in a city of country of México. A factorial analysis type studio for validation of instrument was performed. Among the main result is observed that the guide shows acceptable global values (Cronbach’s alpha of .86 and explained variance of 51.2%), and slightly lower for each of the areas that the instrument evaluates (Cronbach’s alpha of .61 to 76). It’s suggested to use scale in the whole (global) way, but don’t in the individual use of subscales.
